Wedding Invitation, Red Sox Run & New Yarns

This week was a great week! I attended the Yarn Market News Smart Business Conference in Portland, Oregon. I’ve been attending this conference for the last 4 years and I find it helps inspire me to do more with my business, connects me with other yarn shop owners and re-energizes me for the last leg of  winter…. and certainly gets me pumped for all the great events we host at Stitch House in early Spring. Last week I shared some of the exciting upcoming events and this week I’m adding a few more to the list.
I formally request the honour of your presence on April 29 for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton… Yes! We’re hosting a viewing party for Prince William & Kate Middleton’s wedding ceremony. I know it will be an early morning trip to the Stitch House – but don your most glamorous headpiece (we’ll have many extras if you don’t have one) and join us for the 5 am party. We’ll be joining my “sister shop” Slip Knot in Pennsylvania via Skype and share in the excitement. We’ll also enjoy tea and crumpets… and of course coffee!
In May I am an running the Red Sox Run to Home Base – again! and this year we have a Stitch House team if you’d like to run with us. Let me know and after your register I will invite you to my “team”. We’ll have some great shirts and I’ll be hosting a team fundraiser here in May. The run fundraising requirement is high but it is certainly for a good cause – please join me in the effort. If you are unable to run with us, you can be a virtual runner or donate to the Stitch House Dorchester team directly at:
