No Singer – But Cake for All Tonight and more things happening!‏

I have some disappointing news for those of you looking forward to our knit-song singer: Melanie had a change in her rehearsal schedule in New York  and needed to reschedule our visit. I am so bummed but we will still have fun tonight if you can join us! We are celebrating all January Birthdays at the Stitch House TONIGHT, Friday, January 25 from 6-9pm. We’ll have some munchies and of course cake. If you are thirsty – please bring your own beverages of choice! All birthday boys  & girls will receive a small Stitch House gift and the first pieces of cake. I can’t wait for the fun! I hope you can come!
Also, Tonight We have a wonderful group of quilters participating in our FREE Stitch House Quilt Club. We’re in the process of wrapping up the Trip Around the World Quilt (meeting tonight, Friday from 7-9pm). We now have a new project for Winter 2013! Join the Stitch House Quilt Club and make Red Pepper’s Zig Zag Quilt. The Stitch House Quilt Club is designed for new, beginner and advanced sewers looking for good company, conversation and guidance to complete a stunning quilt. Workshop times are scheduled a few weeks at a time and any club members can continue meeting with the group until they have completed their Quilt. This is a casual workshop and members receive assistance while at Stitch House, but are expected to be fearless of making “mistakes”. My philosophy is your sewing should be as perfect as you want it, but you should enjoy your workmanship. This is meant to not be stressful. I attempt to create an atmosphere of relaxation and fun. There is no grade for your finished project. If this all sounds good to you, check out our attached flyer and come in next week to get started. Come finish your Trip Around the World, or start the newest quilt, tonight 7-9pm.

If you can’t make it tonight, check out all that is happening this weekend and over the rest week:
