February also means a lot of great happenings here at Stitch House. It all starts tomorrow tonight with:
Friday: FREE Stitch House Quilt Club– We’re in the process of kicking off a new project for Winter 2013! Join the Stitch House Quilt Club and make Red Pepper’s Zig Zag Quilt. The Stitch House Quilt Club is designed for new, beginner and advanced sewers looking for good company, conversation and guidance to complete a stunning quilt. Workshop times are scheduled a few weeks at a time and any club members can continue meeting with the group until they have completed their Quilt. This is a casual workshop and members receive assistance while at Stitch House, but are expected to be fearless of making “mistakes”. My philosophy is your sewing should be as perfect as you want it, but you should enjoy your workmanship. This is meant to not be stressful. I attempt to create an atmosphere of relaxation and fun. There is no grade for your finished project. If this all sounds good to you, come in to get started. Upcoming meeting times: Friday, February 1, 6-8pm, Sunday, February 3, 3-5pm.
