Yes, the other morning as I walked through the parking lot at the high school there were snowflakes! It is true. Snowflakes! I think the only way to get out of this weather slump is to play some baseball! It is that time of year again to play my favorite sport. And the boys are ready and practicing and looking forward to the start of another season of this fantastic sport. As you might remember I collected cases of water for the Savin Hill Little League and I am doing it again. This is how it works: bring in a case of bottled water between now and April 30 and receive 10% off your purchase. You will also be entered to win a gift bag form Cascade Yarns. I then donate the water to the League to have for the kids on game days, and eventually it will be warm and the kids will need them! Thank you for all that donated last year and in advance for those that will bring some in this time around.
Now that we are in April, I can announce the newest project of the month! Join me and making this lovely mohair wrap. I’ve made it with colorblocking last last year using three colors of Giselle, but the simple painted Kidsilk Haze Stripe and a 24″ circular needle are all you need! Let’s call this the April Chill Chaser and make it a project! Join me and make this very simple (what I call Red Light Knitting) knit-a-long. This yarn is $30 and the needles are $16 for Addi Turbos, or $8.50 for Clover Takumi Wood. For this special project I am happy to ship for free and ship tonight! Just call and reserve you project. We’ll either hold it in shop for you or mail it Priority Shipping for free!
