So I did get an email out this week! So here it is: Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that you are able to enjoy this family with family and good friends and share some joy and love.
I have been so impressed with your generosity for our food drive and canned goods drive. We were able to donate a number of turkeys to the Blessed Mother Theresa Food Pantry. Thank you. We did have one come in with no name (please email me) and if you donated to another pantry/cause, please let me know, I want to put your name into our raffle. Our can drive ends tomorrow but our toy drive continues. Please bring in a new, unwrapped toy (cash contributions or gift cards to local retailer also accepted), get 10% your total purchase. Toys will be donated to the local police station Christmas Party and to the Mothers’ for Peace and Justice toy drive. This drive will run through December 13.
As you know we will be closed Thursday. We will have Friday Night Knitting and if you come, please bring Thanksgiving leftovers for our annual Pot Luck Dinner!
Oh and about that “open this email request” – we’ve been low on our email “open rate” so I wanted to get that number increased and hep us clean out some old emails. If you can please reply with a comment about anything Stitch House (pro or con ok) I will put your name into a raffle for a needle pack. That name will be drawn on Saturday evening following Small Business Saturday.
