FREE Workshops, Classes, Socks & Hats!

Another busy weekend ahead for us at Stitch House. Join us tonight for our usual “knitting around the table until all hours”! I won’t make it until late night because Douglas and his hockey team will be playing before the Providence Bruins but I hope you can.
Today is also the last day to purchase a $5 raffle ticket to win a hanging assortment of knitting needles. While going through some of Chelsea’s knitting I found a collection of her needles and thought they have to go to good use.. so all monies collected for this raffle will go to Team MR8 – the group running the Boston Marathon this year in support of the Martin Richard Foundation. Feel free to make a donation today and let me know so I can count you in this raffle. I will draw a winner tomorrow morning at 9am.
Sunday, Claire will be once again running her very popular Mohair Bias Loop workshop, free with materials purchase. Please call to reserve your seat. Particpants should know how to knit and purl. Also, those who have taken this workshop and ready to bind your ends together using the Kitchener Method, come on in at 4pm. That gives Claire enough time to get the newbies started and settled.
If you can’t make it in this weekend, find so much more happening and find your way here eventually!

 Toe Up Socks!

Sara Wolf Returns
We have had so many requests for socks so here you are! I hope you will join us for an intensive afternoon of knitting and fun! All participants will learn to construct a small scale sock (toddler size) from the “toe up”. Part of our struggle with making socks is understanding the construction from toe to heal to cuff. This workshop takes the mystery out of it all and you can do it in good company!
