Week of Pictures, Spring Sewing and; Knitting, More Specials for YOU!

This weekend we have a great workshop for YOU! First, join Sara Wolf on Saturday from 2-6pm to make your first sock – or learn a new sock technique. “Toe Up” (or down depending on your feet) is a great way to make socks that fit perfectly and uses your yarn efficiently.  Sara has room for a few more knitters to construct a sock from toe to ankle making this mini so you can see the all the steps along the way. Please call to reserve your seat! Workshop costs $40 and includes yarn (bring your own needles), munchies for break time and good company!

Last weekend we had a VERY successful afternoon of Boston Strong Hat Knitting. I was so excited to bring this class to you and to be able to make a donation to the Team MR8 Marathon Runners. Although I’m not into the full color work of the hat, so many of you are! Thank you for attending – and check out Facebook for more pictures. We still have patterns available for sale and all pattern sale proceeds will be given tot he Martin Richard Foundation.

If you enjoyed our time with Lisa and want more, she is running a Hat Design Workshop in June. This session is limited to 10 students – call for details and sign up early!

Thank you to all that donated to our Chemo Cap drive for Dana Farber. Congrats to Gail S. who took home our raffle for hat knitters. Here’s a picture of most of the hats collected and heading to a deserving head this week.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you soon!
