Monday’s Marathon was a huge victory for Boston and all of us who were touched by the events of last year. I am so proud of my many friends and neighbors who ran 26.2 miles – they did it for all of us! And many of YOU had friends and family who ran too and few had great Boston Strong hats made with love by you. Last week Isabel came in to show off her collection of hats for her husband (runner) and her and her daughter who would be watching from the sidelines. I love her color combos… and all this was her first colorwork project. I’m very proud!
If you missed our Boston Strong Hat Workshop or wanting to create your own color work hat – join Lisa McFetridge (designer) for a pencil and paper workshop on Hat Design Sunday, June 8 form 3 -6pm. That same weekend we’re also holding a Magic Loop session with Sara Wolf on Saturday, June 7 from 3-5:30pm.
Also coming up this weekend, after much request we are hosting a Blocking Workshop, Sunday morning with Valaree. And then a seaming session with Claire on Sunday, May 4. Please call to register.
Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you soon!
