MORE Knitting Classes!
Sara returns for her SUPER workshop on a winter classic! Add a layer of cozy fleece inside your mittens to keep your fingers toasty this winter. This design is an update on the traditional mittens of Newfoundland and Labrador where knitters salvaged the bits of yarn left over when fabric is cut off of the loom. Worked into the mittens, these ends — or thrums — provide an extra layer of insulation and warmth. Prerequisites: knitting in the round, increase/decrease, knit/purl. Saturday October 18, 3-6pm. $30 includes instruction, fleece, and pattern. Worsted weight wool and needles are available for purchase.
