Colorwork Mittens with Lisa McFetride!
Sunday, December 7 & 14
Lisa McFetridge returns, this time to make MITTENS! Join her in making her design Whimsical Odds & Ends Mittens using up your stash and working on your colorwork skills. Participants should know how to knit and purl in the round. Skills developed in this workshop include changing colors, colorwork and create thumb gusset. Using a heavy worsted weight yarns on very small needles and the result is a very warm, durable fabric that doesn’t need any lining to keep out the cold and wind on the coldest day. The other upside to such a dense fabric is very little wear, tear & very little piling.
This workshop meets 2 Sundays, Dec. 7 & 14 from 4-6pm. $80 includes 10 mini-skeins of worsted weight yarn. Additional materials to purchase include main wool and needles. Call to pre-register and receive materials list.

Even if you aren’t taking a sewing class with us, this is a great opportunity to learn a few basics.
