Snow and a collection of my fave Free Patterns!

I am writing this morning as one of my guys is arguing his way out into this blizzard! I told him the Governor and Mayor said stay inside unless you absolutely have to. Can you imagine how this argument is going? If you watch Facebook today, I’ll be sure to post all the snowy, wet, cold pictures!

The Stitch House is closed today. I will update Facebook on our plans for Wednesday. Please be careful if you need to travel. Check in with your local public safety people if you need anything. I am sure they will not bring you yarn. If you have a yarn emergency, check your stash and then check your hidden stash. Whatever you really need, you’ll find. I’m using this snow-in to get some knitting done on my sweater and almost-finished shawl.

While tucked in, make some plans for visiting us after the roads are clear. We have a number of classic classes and a few new ones including a sock workshop with Libby (below) and all you see here in this email.

Socks with Libby – 3 Sundays 2-4pm (Feb 1, 8 & Mar 1) and “walk” away with a very cool pair of socks! As a class we’ll be making a top-down Waffled Footsies by Anita Grahn. You can use these skills and continue making socks for all your favorite people. This series is $60 plus materials. Knitters should be comfortable knitting and purling. Please call to register and get materials list.

Many shops are also doing Superbowl Sunday Specials. I felt left out so we’re in! Come by this weekend and take advantage of a Mid-Winter Clearance Sale! We’ll have a great assortment of yarn & fabric on deep discount! Because I can, I won’t announce sale items until Friday morning.

Come in Friday night, as usual, we’ll be knitting and crocheting around the table! Katie Rose will be stopping by to knit with us. Come in for a visit.
